Exceptional
This was the first ever soccer sim to add in a system where you could watch what your players done. It was also the first soccer sim to include the super cup in it. This is a special game and many people who now love soccer sims had this game at one point.
I still have it and the original case although I don't play it but I will probably always keep it. I can say that interaction between buying the players is poor compared now but this is 11/12 years on and it hasn't really changed that much between any of the big soccer sim brands.
This was the game that really started my love for soccer sims and I now officially have 22 soccer sim games...
The thing I thought was most impressive by far was your control over the players you could buy, it was the first game that made it remotely possible for the other team to actually accept an offer for a player if he wasn't on the transfer list. It was always in the game but it never really seemed possible before this version.
Graphics and the theme song. The graphics at that time were actually really really good but the theme song was extremely repetitive and it actually became extremely annoying.
You had more control over how long the game lasted in this game aswell as you were able to make the game last for 5, 2, 1 mins or stop at an instance. This was the first time this was really ever seen and Premier Manager was probably one of the most successful at this time for Soccer Sims but thats all stopped now due to Football Managers superiority and the fun that Championship Manager gives you.
9.5 out of 10 for this game and it deserves it.
