I played this game on the Turbo Grafix 16 to death!!! The holes can be challenging. You are given the full use of the clubs in your bag meaning you can putt from the fairway for example. Putting is nice and straight forward if you've played wii golf you know how complicated "they" can make putting. This game keeps it simple. You are able to switch to overhead view for a better look of the green to determine slopes. Speed adjustment when putting is similar to irons but without the second tap for accuracy. Animation is plenty, it's not tiger woods golf, for a golf game it's not that important to see the sweat on the players paints crease. The game is real addicting and a lot of fun to play. There is a par five hole that has an extremely narrow fairway and plenty of out of bounds that makes for a great challenge.
