Portal is one of those games where you have to play more than once to understand the game. As the game begins, you start in this test chamber place. As you continue during the game, the game gets more crazy and much much better. This game isn't your average FPS. It's not like a Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, Battlefield game, etc. etc. This FPS game ACTUALLY makes you think. Remember think like a PORTAL.

As for the story, there is no story in this game really. You have no idea how you got in the test chamber, no idea what's the name of the main character, etc. etc. But story isn't everything in a game, this game is focused more on gameplay rather than story.

This game is also groundbreaking and quiet unique. This is one of the few FPS games I have played where I actually had to use my brain. Overall this is a great game and it should NOT be missed. Only downside of this game is it's extremely short. It can be beaten in like 1-3 hours (maybe even less, depending on how you think in this game).
