Portal is a fun game that manages to keep a sense of both challenge and humor.

NOTE: Spoiler alert. Also, my time spent playing is just an estimate.

Overall, this game did everything I expected it to do, but even more. Honestly, the puzzles were hard after a while, but most could be done after a bit of hard thinking and good timing. The only issue a player may face is lag due to how high-quality the Source engine is, along with the portal drawing (which really added lag to my system). Still, it's worth trying, even if you have to drop the graphics all down to minimum. The game gets harder as time passes by, but gives you a nice learning curve. The computer that talks to you throughout the game is also very nice. It seems to have emotion. Later on, it tried to persuade you into coming back for cake, even after you almost get killed. Some of the moments in the game may make you feel triumphant and happy, but others may make you feel desperation and sadness. Also, it has some nice challenges to do that make the game go a little longer.

Overall, I think this game did what it promised, but also went a little extra. I recommend it to anyone who likes puzzle games, as long as they don't mind some quick thinking!
