This week is jam packed with Portal 2, Mortal Kombat, SOCOM 4, Conduit 2, and collections for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The reviews are out. Critics claim that the sequel has created more problems than it has solved. Mr. Ford is more cheesey than ever before. The Art direction is still just as bad, and the multiplayer is still nothing special; they just incorporated elements that have already been seen in other games. High Voltage should just go back to making Nickelodeon games, because apparently they stink at making real games. This is no Goldeneye. Conduit 2 sucks.
@Sardinar The only difference i noticed is that there is no longer blood when you get shot. That could very well possibly be the reason why for the rating change. Its still fun to play. And it challenges your mind more then the original.
@sweetpotatofry You obviously never even touched the advanced chambers. Besides, Portal was not a hit game because of the length or the difficulty, it was more about the unique gameplay and how everything worked.
Thanks for the gamespot Game is very sweet, very down and I hope soon because I'm very excited And I wish for the PC
I can't understand the anticipation for Portal 2. Was the first one anything more than a series of really simple puzzles? Really, you could zone out and beat the game in less than 4 hours. It's so simple and dry... Makes me feel like I could build a hit game all by myself.
@Dan881 Guess many console players don't really know or understand why Valve is soo awesome...I doubt the consoles get the mass amount of updates that Us PC players get with valve games. (MORE TF2 HATS! lol) That and they dont have the amazing Gary's Mod :P Soo Much content and replay value with valve games...but you dont get that same amount of replay value on a console game.
Why is nobody pumped for Portal 2?? I mean besides mr. fluffyninja here most people are like "meh, looks cool maybe pick up." MAYBE????? I dont want to believe that so many gamers havent played the first game. It was amazing. Then to be skeptical of the second. Whatever, guess its more of a PC thing anyways. Cant wait for it to come out!!
@swadley180 The problem is that the original Portal was rated T for Teen, meaning there is something in the original that separates it from it's successor. I truly hope it isn't anything significant.
The E10+ rating just means that it has no cussing no blood or people dying. Or at least in a horrible way. t will still have lots or action and excitement in it.
@Says the one with a Sonic avatar...? Games get rated AFTER the developer has sent it in, so Valve has not made any sacrifices for the lower rating.
FINISH HIM! ....*Epic Canned Scream* ...FATALITY! going to hear that at least 100 times a day starting next week :D
