I have a PS3 and 360 and I can say, definitively, that I will be getting the PS3 version. I love all consoles but I'm wondering what the hell this Steam Cloud is so I want the console that supports it.

@namdar Yes it would be fun to play all the HL games again, and finish it off with Half Life 3

@Elv0 Portal is a great game and I do believe some of the background ties into half life, none of the less they should finish the story, myself and others are dying to play.

Valve gived portal 2 for ps3 and sony could give kill zone 2 for pc :P

i want Half Life 3 :s But i quess Portal 2 will take off my mind from HL3 :P But still i will be waiting for it ;)

Hm, nice, wonder if the graphics also got an update, it was a cinematic, but at the gameplay part you could still see all the shadows and rich solar rays being present, I only hope they do not limit these effects to the Playstation 3, would be kind of unfair to other platforms. But looking forward to it! :D

Nice. I'll probably go with PC version since my experience with Portal was on the PC. Glad to hear that it'll be best on PS3 though. Good to see the PS3 getting a better multi-plat.

Loved the trailer, The Half-Life Universe is awesome and Portal 2 looks like it will be a great add-on to the story.

Yeah most are but, FPS for consoles is impossible for a PC gamer to go from mouse and keyboard to a controler..it is for me at least.

@ Gelugon_baat Ah, I can see your point. I suppose there will always be people out there who exist on both sides of the spectrum when it comes to these sort of things. I do recall people being banned with the iPhone earbuds equipped in certain Team Fortress 2 servers.

Glad I have to option to get it on PC, 360, or PS3. Probably will get it on my PC though, mods are great.

I hope that the PC version doesn't end up being too easy if they optimize the difficulty for gamepad, which is way more inaccurate and slower than mouse.

i disagree with you both, ps3 is way superior ^-^ ohhh, console wars...how we all despise it yet it is everywhere we turn :/

P.S. All though I do feel the PC is the superior master of all gaming, there is nothing like having playing a console with buddies.

@Duke_51 Actually, there are individuals (I refuse to use the word 'people') angry with Valve creating Steam for MAC. I recall a rather obnoxious person who once wrote: "I won't play with people who use MACs." Well, he won't know right away if the people playing with him are using MACs, as Steam more-or-less hides the platform that a user utilizes from other users. As for Gabe Newell's very hefty about-turn, well, he was a rather spite-filled person back then when he criticized the PS3. As a result of his short-sighted vitriol, he had to eat a LOT of his own words when commercial realities dawned on him - as is expected of persons like him who makes such poorly thought-through statements like the infamous "sharpening things". But really, it was Sony that he truly despised, not the blameless machine. It has to be noticed that Valve is bringing Steamworks to the PS3, refusing to use the PSN for the online support of this game. Portal 2 may be coming to the PS3, but how it's coming is a veiled snub at Sony in itself.
