My heart skipped a beat for a second there, but all is good again.
Thankfully Valve has absolutely no necessety to sell out and they know that.
EA is just being EA again, hinting at their investors some kind of progress and that they're doing "something".
If at all then it could be happening the other way around, Valve buying up EA and freeing all those once good development studios from EA's tyranny and firing all those braindead executives at EA so they won't infest Valve.
Perhaps the new SimCity wouldn't suck then. (Steamworks, Steam Workshop, now that's something I could live with)
