Cosplay, customization, addiction: all in a DS game!

User Rating: 10 | That's QT DS
At first I thought it was another worthless game with a nice cover, but I was wrong. This game is highly addictive and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys cosplay, customization and a good challenge!

What does the game offer?
Pop Cutie! Street Fashion Simulation is a game aimed for anyone. You may choose a boy or girl, and basically, you design the outfits you dream of! By talking to people on the street, you can collect keywords which give you ideas on what to design. Once you get certain combinations of words, you can make new types of clothing. There are a variety of colour choices and combinations which can help you in Fashion Battles. (Fashion Battles = Fashion show.) There are so many possibilities: from penguin costumes to pipes and shaggy hair to high tops!

Story
The story is that you one day wake up to find what you really want is to become a famous designer. So you team up with your friend and come across the idea of starting a shop at the flea market. With the help of the strange Professor Rabbit, you try your best to become the best designer around!

Gameplay
The gameplay is highly addictive because there is always something to do: whether it be filling the shelves, hiring models, or even cashing in at the register... it keeps you playing this game for a long time! There is always something to do and an objective at each stage. Once you complete the objective, you move on to more competative rivals and demanding customers.

Controls
The controls are perfectly fine, and you have the option of using either the stylus or the buttons. Surprisingly, you can also run in this game by holding down the B button which I didn't find out until I was further in the game. (Thought I'd just let you know..) There's nothing more to say!

Graphics/sounds
...are amazing! The graphics are a bit of a sprite style and the graphics fit the game perfectly. The sounds and music are amazing as well since you have the option of changing the background music so its never the annoying noise you hear in some other games. You actually get to change the "noise" in the background so it seems more like music.

Difficulty
The difficulty of the game is just right, because it really depends on what stage in the game you're on. The higher the stage, obviously, the harder it gets. There are a variety of objectives such as "Earn 30 000 QTs in a month" (QTs is the currency. Get it, Q T? Cutie?) and "Gain 50 fans" etc. Strategy may even help in this game, but it all depends on what you want to do.

Overall
Overall, this game was just perfect. I love it all and I still can't get over it. Sure, take a break from the game once in a while and come back fo some more! Even after the credits roll there is more in store for you. I give this game a 10/10 for overall excellence! I highly recommend this game to anyone who wants to get involved with fashion in the future because I'm no fashion guru and still enjoy this game!
