User Rating: 7.5 | Poker Night at the Inventory PC
Poker Night at the Inventory is pretty straight forward. It's a Poker game featuring some of our favourite online stars: Strong Bad, Tycho, Max (from Sam and Max) and Heavy Weapons Guy (from Team Fortress 2).

Think of Poker Night as an "after hours" representation of these characters - what they're like when they're off the clock and kicking back. Throughout games the player will be treated to comical banter from, and between, each of these characters. Unfortunately though I didn't feel that the humour from the characters quite held up to what I expected from them (particularly the Heavy). That said, their banter is by no means a con and certainly adds a nice atmosphere to the game and makes the game of poker a bit more light hearted.

No doubt many people got the game to unlock the Team Fortress 2 items, but there are also some other unlocks (table and card designs). I felt these could have been fleshed out more though. While the club they're in is called "The Inventory" it would have been nice to unlock some other locations, as once players are knocked out they can be seen wandering around in the background. It would have been interesting to see the characters in their own settings, such as Tychos house, or Sam and Max's office or even just other settings within the club itself.

The lack of multiplayer is also disappointing, only because the aforementioned light hearted humour would have been great to experience with friends. The experience of Poker is quite enjoyable, and the game looks and plays great.

Conclusion: For $5 this is a great game for poker fans or those looking to learn to play poker in a light hearted environment. You simply can't go wrong and you'll get several hours of enjoymment from it. So far I've played 7.6 hours, and I'll be sure to go back for the atmosphere and of course the poker.
