In attempt to milk this franchise, Nintendo decided to release a "Yellow version" of Pokemon starring Pikachu. Pretty much everything is the same as before, except now the environments have a little bit of color to them and there's a talking Pikachu following you at all times. New fans of Pokemon couldn't go wrong buying this as their first Pokemon game. And Pokemon collectors might want to buy it to keep themselves busy beating the game once more. Or, they might want it just so they could get Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle all together. In the end, you really shouldn't expect an entirely different Pokemon experience. Yes, it's still great fun, and nowadays, you could buy it for 5 bucks, but you might not want to put your time into it. Buy a newer version, because this is nothing new.
