Wowsers, pokemon basically rules. I think it's one of the gams that have screwd me up the most. i couldnt stop playing. I had Pokemon Blue before i got yellow. and there is NOT much of a difference. Getting it JUST because pikachu is in it is not a good reason, because honestly... pikachu is the worst, most useless pokemon south of the northpole. I tried being loyal and keeping him around but you gotta make room for zapdos eh? The REAL great thing about yellow is that you can have bulbasaur, charmander AND squirtle. In blue and red you could only have one of them and that was it. But in Yellow you can have them all. That is the greatest difference in my opinion. Otherwise it's not much different than any other of the first pokemon games. But if you wanna invest in one of those first ones, you should go for yellow. it's got more, more value. But looking back at it, i cant imagine myself beating it again, i already spent 130 hours on it and lots of the puzzles and mazes are ones that you would not want to solve again.
