short but fun

Pokemon TCG is different from the traditional Pokemon games for the game boy yet is still surprisingly fun!
You play as a kid bent on obtaining the legendary Pokemon cards but first he must obtain the 8 medals from the 8 different typed gyms.
If you don't know how to play the Pokemon TCG, get this game. It taught me and it will teach you. It doesn't take long to get used to the controls, they're pretty straightforward.
This game is surprisingly easy but you might hit a few snags, One thing that I've found that makes it really easy is the lack of strategy in your opponents decks. The only Person with really any strategy is Murray, the Psychic gym leader. all others just use very straightforward decks.
At the end of the game, just like in the traditional Pokemon RPG's, you have to fight the Elite Four. one runs a fire deck lead by the legendary Pokemon card Moltres, the second one runs an electric deck lead by the legendary Zapdos and the the third one runs a water deck lead by the legendary Articuno. after these 3, you will have to face Rod with his legendary Dragonite deck. all of which are not actual cards and only exist in the game. after which, as by tradition, you fight your rival Ronald who has all 4 of the previously stated legendary cards. But that doesn't make it hard at all! in fact, it further unbalances his deck! the elite four were too easy. They even gave you time in between each of them to edit your deck and save. if you lost to one of them, you could have just shut off the game and restarted where you left off. It's not like you'd even need this luxury because they're pretty easy to beat. I beat them in my first try. I didn't even see the Zapdos or Dragonite until I beat the game and acquired them. I think one of the few things that I like better about this game than the RPG's is the music. The music is simply amazing. Easily my favorite part of the game.
I would recommend playing this game. It's kinda short tho so if you have any friends with it, I would recommend borrowing it from them instead of buying it yourself. If you really get into it, you could probably beat it in a weekend.
