An old fossil with alot of bugs in it. This game has its moments though.

The first Pokemon 3D game ever, and it is flawed right off the back. Allow me to demonstrate:

1. Movement is too slow. The pokemon could've been more active besides waiting.

2. Moves such as fire spin and wrap are annoying because you have to spend 10 minutes for it to finish.

3. Not a huge pokemon selection and variety of attacks.

Despite its shortcomings, I had great moments playing it when I was 10 years old. The mini games are an instant classic and are hilarious. Rattata run and Clefairy Says are the most entertaining to watch and are comparable to Mario Party.

This game's main goal was to battle pokemon in 3D, however, they should've focussed more on game play mechanics. They just needed more pokemon and better attacks for the rental pokemon. It is primitive in a way that the old rules of battling are the most annoying and it slows everything down.

If you want a better pokemon game with better improvements on pokemon, attacks, etc., then I highly recommend Pokemon Stadium 2.
