You probably don't need an introduction to the pokemon games. It seems like the original is always the best, and that holds true with red and blue. The graphics are fine, and I am glad it did'nt try to overdo anything like many games on handhelds. The story is a amazing and so is the gameplay. You start off as ash and go through your epic quest to be a the greatest trainer in the world. One of my favorite aspects of this game is that even when your done, you can still catch em' all. 151 pokemon is a lot more reasonable to catch then 400+. Link play is great, you can battle and trade with your friends, and there are plenty of great cheats to keep you entertained. All in all its a great experience.
