you are a boy who has just gotten his first pokemon, pikachu from professor oak. This is the only pokemon that will follow you outside battle so most people use him. After a lot of talking and learning how to play you get to go and face some pokemon that you can K.O, run away or catch and train yourself. you can only have 6 pokemon at once so if you want others you have to trade them in a storage computer.after some training and catching you get to challenge your first gym witch has all rock types so its kind if hard with just pikachu. after he is defeated you get to go through caves, grass, water, boats and other places gathering all the gym badges and training your pokemon stronger so you can get to the elite four witch are the hardest five people in the game. yes five. before that you also have to deal with team rocket, some thieves who use pokemon. in the end its a lot of fun and you will play it over and over again. I you don't have this game or pokemon blue or red then you should go find it in a store or go on ebay and get a copy because its a lot of fun. one last cool thing is if you have a gold or silver version then you can trade back and forth same with other yellows and blues and reds. this game is a 10 out of 10 game but its not for every one. so go buy your own copy of this game.
