Great story, beautiful worlds, slightly idiotic AI, a little simplistic. The review didn't give this game enough credit.

Gates to Infinity definitely deserve a much higher score than a 5.0. While the game may have done a couple things to make it inferior to the previous titles such as getting rid of the Pokesona quiz, and lowering the character species options, the good definitely out-ways the bad here!

I can understand a bit of griping from the massive amounts of text, but for me, that is one of the best parts of the game. All of the Mystery Dungeon games are incredibly story driven! However it definitely could have used a text speed option to help it go by faster. Now the complaints for the AI are pointless due to the fact that if you spend a little time with it, you can control your partners completely by switching moves on and off and telling them when it's time to get out of there. Now for difficulty, this game is much easier than the other previous installments but is still somewhat of a challenge. The game took me around 12 hours to beat and could be a little repetitive, but that should really only knock off a point or two.

All in all I really believe that this game is really underrated, especially by the reviewer. I understand not giving it a 9 or a 10, the game isn't prefect, but it deserved a score of at least a 7!
