PKMN MD 2 Explorers of Darkness review.
First of all, there is no real difference between TIME and DARKNESS apart from a few POKéMON the vary depending on which copy of the game you have. PKMN MD2 is a sequel to the big hit POKéMON MYSTERY DUNGEON - RED/BLUE RESCUE TEAMS which where the first POKéMON games that you actually play and speak AS the POKéMON it's self.
POKéMON MD2 Is an adventure game of which you (A POKéMON which is decided after taking a short personality quiz at the beggining of a new game) and your partner of whom you get to choose after you have been told which POKéMON you are, Create a guild to go exploring and helping others. You where once a human who has now become a POKéMON and lost your memory, but you have no idea why. This will be explained near the end of the game, i will not give away spoilers! The game consists of really long scenes of endless talking which can get quite annoying! Each dungeon you visit has several floor. For example, Beach Cave, the first dungeon you shall viit, has 3 Floors in total. Each floor is a maze of walls filled with wondering POKéMON which you must fight upon meeting one. Some dungeons at the end of the game which you can unlock, contain up to 100 floor and can be a pain to get into. You level up as normaly, by gaining EXP by killing opponents. At the end of some dungeons are bosses, which are extremely hard POKéMON to defeat and often killing you, which is why most bosses have a save point a few floors before them. some don't. Bosses tend to be Legendary POKéMON. These POKéMON can join your rescue team but sometime there are certain requirements for this to happen. The game is very similar to the Prequel however this game introduces POKéMON from the Sinnoh region. Just like Ruby & Sapphire, Pearl & Diamond, a Third version of the game comes out like Emerald and Platinum. We hear that there will be a 3rd version of POKéMON MD2 coming soon, called POKéMON MD2: Explorers of the Sky i believe. This game takes lots of twists and really is exciting. It's the kind of game that you get get far and stop playing untill the next day to save excitement. I recommend getting this game if your like RED/BLUE RESCUE TEAMS.
