Dungeons doesn't live up to the high expectations, and unless your a big pokemon fan, you won't compeletely enjoy it.

User Rating: 6.5 | Pokemon Fushigi no Dungeon: Toki no Tankentai DS
Possibly the longest-running anime series of all time, Pokemon is something utterly memorable. Of course they're gonna make video games on it, because that's the way it goes nowadays.

Pokemon Dungeons: Time is an RPG, so there has to be something unique about it. But unfourtunately, this pokemon game falls short of being something new and fresh.

The storyline remains poor: You get turned into a pokemon after some freak science experiment, and then you go to this island inhabited by pokemon of all sorts and do monotonous tasks. So really, the storyline doesn't impress at all.

The graphics are terrible overall, especially in the dugeons. There are some pretty moments (for example, when you and your friend pokemon look at the sea, the graphics really shine) but not enough to overshadow the flat visual style itself.

The gameplay is good, if headache-inducing. You'll have a good time exploring the island and meeting new pokemon (like Dusknor and Koffing), but the dungeon crawling is really boring.

The extras contain WFC multiplayer and link play. Both are passable but don't push the DS to it's limits like Diamond did.

In summary, Pokemon Dungeons: Time has a few memorable moments, but it the game in a whole is boring, unimpressive, and hardly enjoyable unless you are a big pokemon fan.
