Not A Bad Remake
-Great visuals (Great update over the past 10 years and the addition of changing seasons is a nice touch).
-Catchy, memorable soundtrack (Still sounds as great as it did in 2000).
-Having your leading pokemon walk with you is a nice feature (It also worked well with Pikachu is Pokemon Yellow from 1999).
-Lengthy, engaging, engrossing adventure (As fun as the original and still an addicting quest).
-Pokewalker is a great addition.
The Bad:
-It's the same Pokemon format you have seen since the late 1990's (The quest here has not changed much since the original from 2000).
-Sound effects are muddled and dull (Some sound effects have also been recycled from previous games.).
-Pokemon cries sound weak.
-Generic battle animations (Still the same turn-based battle style with every pokemon game like this).
-Battle screens repeat too much.
