- "Highly addictive"
Pokemon games are some of the most addictive games out there and Pokemon Gold and Silver verions are the best out there. These games first appeared in 1997 and were named Pokemon Blue and Red, Green and Red in Japan. The games were well received and after the Pokemon Yellow release Pokemon Gold and Silver were announced to be released in 2000.
The games have been very well received world wide as the best Pokemon games and these are the reasons why;
1. In Blue/Red/Yellow there was no colour since it was a Gameboy but on the GBC Gold/Silver had colour, this is obvious.
2. There is Day and Night which is a great addition to this game because not only did the developers put Day and Night but some Pokemon only appear at night and most are even sleeping which makes it easier to capture them.
3. There is an in-game clock and this a great addition too.
4. After getting the eight badges and beating the Elite Four in the Pokemon League you still get to go to Kanto from Johto and you get to travel back and forth by a Magnet Train which is in Saffron City, S.S. Anne in Vermilion City and you can even Surf back to Johto.
5. You have a Phone which you can use to call people that you have encountered before and they can call you for a rematch or you could call your Mom for confidence and encouragement or Prof. Elm for your Pokedex or information. You also have a radio that is for entertainment.
6. 100 more Pokemon have been added and have been cleverly thought of and named and there is trading to do with friends in and out of the game for Pokemon you can't get from one version but can get from another.
7. You get to battle 16 Gym Leaders and get to fight Ash in the end on Mt. Silver.
8. There are side-quests too that are very nice and interesting.
And then there are other great additions and other stuff in the game too that make the game worthwhile. This game could take you like 60-80 hours to complete but with grinding and side-quests and exploration to do i could take you up to 150 hours or even 200 hours, like mine was 240 hours of gameplay. This game is very good and is the best in the series. There are other fantastic things in the game which I might not remember because the game is so good that I might not remember some of the tings I'm supposed to remember. With 2 great adventures, 251 Pokemon, 16 badges and a lot of grinding to do you can't go wrong with this one.

Sabrina uses Psychic types, and strong ones at that. There were some rough spots when dealing with Mr.Mime and Alakazam, but I got through the mess.Posted Aug 4, 2011
