Pokemon Gold and Silver deliver the best handheld experience ever.

User Rating: 10 | Pocket Monsters Kin GBC
I reviewed Pokemon Red (we can say Blue and Yellow aswell, but Yellow might get it's own review), and now I want to review Pokemon Gold and Silver. I think I might have a lot to say about this game, because this is a special game too me.

Story : 7
The story is the same thing as in Red, but it still is so nice and easy to read that it's flawless, and I'm not being generous, the story to me never gets old. Ash (Ethan?), or whatever you call him, leaves town to get his first Pokemon and because a Pokemon master.

Gameplay : 10
Pokemon is all about the gameplay, and that's why it is so damn good. I literally beat this game's first eight gyms (which is all you need to get the credits) in less than two days, I played it for seven hours the first day, straight. It's rare for me to play a game for seven straight hours, and that's what Pokemon Gold and Silver did for me, that's how magical it is. This is easily one of the most addicting games of all time.

Graphics : 10
The graphics are similar to that of Red and Blue, but they are in full color, and it looks amazing. Seriously, the main reason why I like the old Pokemon games so much is because of the graphics, they are absolutely gorgeous, and I never get sick of them.

Sound : 10
The sound is great. Every tune is something nice to hear, and they never eat your eyes with their low quality sound, it feels like it's such high quality for being the Gameboy Color. This is easily the best soundtrack the system has to offer.

Lifetime : 10
There is so much to see and do in this game (Lifetime). If you wanna beat the first eight gyms, that will take about 11+ hours, and to beat the next eight, and there's a surprising battle at the end, that will take you up to 20+ hours, along with if you want to catch them all, you're looking at 30+ hours, honestly, there's a lot of content in this one little cartridge.

Replay Value : 10
The replay value is extremely high, my friend Tanner who got me into the Pokemon games has beaten the game well over ten times, while I've only beaten in once, I know since I started it, I'm going to beat it a lot more times aswell.

Overall : 10 "MASTERFUL"
This game I truly love, and I can honestly call it flawless. This is easily one of the best games the Gameboy Color has to offer, no, scratch that, it is the best game the Gameboy Color has to offer!

Pros:
+Highly addictive gameplay
+Awesome music
+Very nostalgic to play

Cons:
-Some annoying Pokemon (ZUBAT!!!)
