    This games animation is actually not that bad but the whole goal of making the game is to be really fun.Pokemon Black and White showed improvements in animation and ways to battle like rotation battles and triple battles.Pokemon GBA games are harder then Pokemon DS games in many things especially finding HM's.

    i traded my DS with no stylus and no charger for 50 bucks and bought a SP and Boktai and Pokemon fire red. was that a good trade? IMO it was a good trade

    The regular DS and DS lite can, but not DSi or DSi XL.

    Do these games work on the new DS version like i have this game for the GBA slim and lost the charger way back when and never got to finish it so im just wondering on the DS's if the GBA's Slim cartrages work?

    BEST POKEMON GAME EVER!! IT PWNS EMERALD ALSO DUE TO IN R/S/E THERE ARE WHITE BLOTCHES ALL OVER SCREEN SO ITS BS. THUS FR/LG ARE PWN! I LOVE IT! srry for theoretically screaming.

    dunno why but once u play pokemon and you like it you can never go back. i took long breaks from it but i always end up comming back

    25-30 hours it took me about 50 hours to beat the original which I did twice yesterday. Now I wish they sold this game where I live I love the original and defiently wouldn't mind playing it again with a faster speed and more pokemon.

    I'd upgrade to a simple DS Lite to be honest. That way you have access to a good half a dozen pokemon games that have release over the previous decade. Don't forget the recently remade Gold and Silver.

    Ah'm 27 years old and still playing Pokémon Gold on my old B&W Game Boy and lovin' it. Call me a nerd, geek, whatever.

    Ah haven't played any recent Pokémon game, yet. Any suggestion, anyone?

    This game made me so mad when it said i needed this one item from those dudes tht are hiding in places to get to this one thing to advance in the story and tht made me so mad! my only other pokemon game besides collsuem which i beated was crystal... best game i've ever played! and you could just run through and not have to have some dumb item to advance!

    I lived at the Gold Silver and Crystal craze era and Pokemon Gold is still my favorite but all the games are good
    im really excited about the Gold and Silver remake for the DS
