A great remake of a good classic.

Now unless you have been living in a hole for the past 10 years or so then you will definitely know about the pokemon series of videogames. Lets get the very basic story out of the way first, young boy from (very) small town gets first pokemon from old man, go out on journey, batlle gyms, become league champion, catch all pokemon the end. Lets face it the story is not the strong point of these games. But the strong point is the gameplay that can keep you going for days and days and you still won't properly finish it. Now these games are just a remake of the original red and blue games on the gameboy. The only thing they have really done to change it is they have added a new area after you beat the elite four with johto pokemon in it. They have also made a few graphical enhancements and changed the locations of some of the pokemon and the layout of some of the dungeons. Now this game is 12 years old now but it still stands up as good now as it did then. If you have played ruby or sapphire then you wont find much of a difference here but if you are new to the pokemon series this is a must have game. Also if you plan on getting diamond and pearl and you are a perfectionist then you have to get this game to finish your pokedex. All in all if you are new to the series a wanting to relive your youth then you need to get this game no question and it will keep you occupied for hours and hours.
