Pokemon merchandise such as the TCG, plushtoys, and action figures have gone up the roof and into outer space. It's nowhere. The TCG fad is gone and has been long gone. But this is what is different about the games. Since their 1994 Green version and 1995 red/blue version, the Pokemon game series is still loved through out the world and was always a highly anticipated gameboy game. However, the story is quite repetitive. You get a pokemon, you catch pokemon, and you beat pokemon. Same old same old. Pokemon Sapphire/Ruby was not much of an advance to pokemon games, considering it's for gameboy ADVANCE. It barely has 20 hours of play and there was nothing to do after that; only to catch pokemon you can't really find. Kinda boring. Pokemon Leafgreen/FireRed is not much of a difference either. Pokemon Leafgreen/FireRed is not much of a difference from all the other pokemon series. But it's highly addictive considering it's 30+ hour gameplay and new stuff. Although people say this game is just a remake of the first 3 pokemon videogames, more than half of the game is new. Islands to go to, National pokedex, and new moves; including the same things added from Ruby/Sapphire (Pokemon Bodypowers, new moves, graphics. etc.) The graphics is better than GB. Not GBA. It's more really of a repetitive series. But no matter what, Pokemon games are highly addictive. It's the kinda game you beat. You forget it for a while, and then like a year later, you want to play it again with just as much fun as you played it the first time. It's a good game. Just repetitive.
