OMG! MOVING POKEMON!

User Rating: 8.8 | Pokemon Crystal Version (Pokemon Special Edition GBC Bundle) GBC
The first pokemon game to hit the gameboy colour (only for gameboy colour i mean), pokemon crystal. now with moving pokemon!

Gameplay: Just like with the 5 versions before it (red, blue, yellow, gold, silver) it has the same story line, the lone pokemon trainer off to become the greatest ever. This time there are 16 badges up for grabs and two lands to explore and 251 pokemon to catch. The only difference between crystal and gold/silver, just like with red/blue and yellow, are minor plot changes and a could of new characters. But unlike red/blue/yellow this game (as well as gold/silver) have night and day settings, and means only certain monsters will come out during day and vise versa with night.

Graphics: Much better then the original 3 games, but they use images from gold and silver, stick them in this game and make them move. But still the scenery and the monsters look well done.

Sound: Just like every other pokemon game boy game, it isnt much. If the sound on your gameboy was broken for some reason, you could beat the game and it wouldnt change your opinion of it. The same is once again, quite useless

Value: If you already have the gold and silver versions, you may enjoy this game, mainly for the opportunity to catch a few monsters you may have missed or just so watch the monsters squirm when they first appear on your screen when you fight them.

Overall: Nice long campaign, and once again. only slightly better than the two pervious games (gold/silver)
