At first I didn't know what to expect from a Pokemon Tactics game, I own most of the Pokemon games and strategy games are one of my favorite genres. I started off the game without reading the manual and the game did a good job of explaining what to do in the beginning but as the game goes on I have found myself trying to figure out how to do a few things. This was easily fixed when I read the manual. The game play is a lot of fun and reminds me a lot of Final Fantasy Tactics with a Pokemon twist. The attacks are limited (1 move) and not being able to position your character after they have been moved is kind of annoying but makes the game a little more challenging. If you are looking for a good turn based game with little negatives I would say look no further this game is fun and will keep your attention. Being able to use a Pokemon in a Tactics game truly is very smart.
