Pokemon Channel is a hard-to-explain type of game. The focus is to teach Pikachu how to watch TV. There are lots of shows to watch, many of which are charming and interactive. Some let you buy things for Pikachu's house, and some earn you money to buy things. Some even give you Pokemon Trading Cards! You can even play a Pokemon Mini system. Pikachu gives the game its cute factor, but also its kiddy factor. Truly this game was designed for younger Pokemon fans, but I actually enjoyed this game. It's a breeze for us veterans, but younger fans (8-10) would easily enjoy this game's somewhat hard points. The e-Reader can be used with this game, but since Nintendo doesn't make them anymore, few people can truly appreciate the fun e-features (constellation maker, Smeargle Paint) without an e-Reader. I am one of the lucky few who still have an e-Reader, so I got a lot out of this game. This game is fun, easy, and perfectly designed for its age group in mind. Go try it, you'll probably like it.
