You, Pikachu and a Pokémon TV.

I am a big fan of the Pokémon series. Loads of other people do as well. Nintendo sometimes decide to send the Pokémon franchise down the "Video-Game Spin Off" route. This means that Pokémon video games go aside from the RPG games and head for Racing, Party and... um... TV-watching games.

GAMEPLAY

The game starts with you being delivered a Pokémon TV by Professor Oak. He asks you to be the test audience of TV shows made by Pokémon & starring Pokémon. Then you meet a Pikachu who finds TV interesting and he comes to live in your house. The first few days you play it, you just unlock new shows for you to watch and whenever to try to go outside, Pikachu INSISTS that you stay INDOORS. After the third day he feels OK with going outside. There are very few places you can go to and the game pretty much ends on the sixth day. You have completed a very short "quest" and then Jirachi comes to your house. Then... that's it! Unless you LOVE the shows then you'll be coming back for more but nobody will want to come back after two weeks. There is some replay value. You may want to come back to try and collect all the "Nice Cards" which fellow Pokémon give you if you answer a question about them correctly. There is also a Pokémon Mini where you can play a few minigames and you can decorate your house. The final thing is painting but that's limited.

SOUND

The sounds of the Pokémon don't sound too impressive and the music is very repetitive.

GRAPHICS

You can see Pokémon in squishy 3D, so they are pretty good.

OVERALL

The game may sound PACKED with things to do, but, there's hardly anything to do at all. The game also takes up 22 blocks in your Memory Card which is a lot. Don't buy this game.
