I did not expect this to be such a good game.
But when is was released, I decided to get it since it was such at a low price at release.
And I am so glad for buying it.
Like all games, you choose your starters. And the first gym leader will either be a fire, water or grass trainer depending on your starter that you chose.
And get this, this game has an actual plot! There is this trainer named N, that believes in a world were Pokemon and Humans are spereated for good. He's the main villain, and the KING of Team Plasma.
There are many differences in this game from the others. First of all, there is an option called the C-Gear that lets you go online and view stuff. I'm not exactly sure what is it since I don't have the internet for this game. Also, TMS ARE REUSABLE! Rejoice! there is also Seasons in this game, that change the appeareances of Pokemon. Remember registrating an item? Well, you can registrate as many items as you want! So when you press the button, a selection fo items you chose are ready to be used. pretty neat huh?
The Pokedex is very different too. Oh, and I forgot to mention that the pokemon move for the whole gameplay. Their eyes even close when they are sleeping. No previous generation Pokemon appear either until you finish the game.
The music is fun and catchy. Some music change somtimes depending what you are doing. The new moves are cool, and most of the Pokemon are great too. But here are some disadvantages that made me give the game a 9.5.
First of all, the gym leaders are way too easy. Well, for me anyway. I didn't need to stock up on potions for any of the gym leeaders. Second of all, pokemon appear nearly straight away after a battle. What if you need to go to the Pokemon Center? And BAM! a Drillbur attacks you after taking two steps, or even none! Also, some of these pokemon looked liked they were poorly made. Take Trubbish for instance. care to figure out what he's based on? Just look at the name.
But overall, this is a pretty great game. It's fun, addicting and extremely enjoyable. If you're a new Pokemon player, or an old Pokemon player, I reccomend that you buy this game!
