Pokemon is back.Pokemon returns with a new region,new pokemon,a new evil team,and a new professor.And it's great.
Anyway,lets get down to the story. Pokemon White is pretty much the same exact story as all the other Pokemon games. You are first brought to Professer Juniper.She welcomes you to the world of Pokemon and tells you about the creatures that we call Pokemon. She asks you if you want to pick a boy trainer or a girl trainer. You pick one of the genders and name the trainer. She then introduces you to your friends/rivals Cheren and Bianca.After that, the adventure unfolds. In the Unova region,you are a trainer that is about to choose your first pokemon,and so are Cheren and Bianca. After you choose your Pokemon and get a Pokedex(a hi-tech encyclopedia that you use to help you learn about the Pokemon you catch),you must defeat gym leaders to collect eight gym badges and go on to the Pokemon League. But thats not all,you also have to deal with a team of villains called Team Plasma.Led by a man named Ghetsis,Team Plasma wants to liberate Pokemon from trainers and set them free and it is up to you to stop Team Plasma and become the Pokemon League Champion.
Pokemon White is such a great game. I really enjoyed playing it. Heck,I have restarted the game three times. One of the problems I have with the game though is that the story is the same repetitive thing,but then again, Game Freak and Nintendo can't really change the story of Pokemon.I mean they can try though. I also don't like that the game is really easy. I have played through a bunch of Pokemon Games in the past,but some of the gym leaders are actually really hard. In this game though,you beat these gym leaders easily. The only sort of challenging one is the eighth gym leader.Team Plasma is also very easy to beat(towards the end though,the two final bosses of Team Plasma are a little hard). The elite four is always hard though,there is no questioning that. The game could have been a little harder like I said before,would have made it more fun,but the after game fun makes up for it. There is also the fact that this game is shorter then the other Pokemon games. You can fly through this game five hours tops. Otherwise,the gameplay is awesome.I always love catching my new team members and kicking some Pokemon trainer ass with them. The graphics are fantastic,they worked really hard on the graphics for this game. I really like the fact that this Pokemon game finally has brand new pokemon. What I mean by this is that for the whole entire game, their is brand new pokemon. Pokemon from the other games do not pop up until the after game. So that was really cool. I also enjoy the after game gameplay, it is really fun. The game a lso has great multiplayer,I always love battling my friends to the death in a Pokemon battle. The added feature Game Sync is also interesting. I don't want to talk about it to much, you have to experience Game Sync yourself.
Overall,despite its few major problems,when you keep playing the game, you get over the problems and enjoy the game. It's fun,exciting,enjoyable and addicting,just the way a Pokemon game should be.
