Even though the different characters from their different genre games don't always seem to fit well together, "All-Star Battle Royale" still looks like fun, especially shown in this video.

So far the roster seems lame. Jin or Kazuya better be in this game cause Tekken was a big PS exclusive before it became multiplatform. I'd also love to see Jak and Sora(KH). I'm assuming Crash and Spyro are in but they might pull a MvC3 megaman move, hope not though.
I always thought that Sony could make a better SSB-type game, it's about time, Sony!
It looks like the characters are pretty IMBA atm, I hope it doesn't end up as broken as SSB.
I don't get why Big Daddy is in the game but i'm still gonna buy it when it comes out.... i wonder if there will be pre-order content?

1 Like I am a HUGE fan of smash brothers and I am also HUGELY looking forward to buying this game as soon as it hits shelves. I also like the differences between the two games, currently I am getting REALLY TIRED of all the criticism.. If you are a fan of Smash you should be looking forward to more unique fighting mash-up games like this PERIOD. So STOP HATIN'!
The good thing about this, is that Nintendo must create an excelent Smash Brother´s game. Better than any one created.
There's definitely some strategy to this game. A lot of people are dismissing it because it's different from Smash.

2 Like Get over it people. With that logic, CoD is a blatant rip-off of Doom because they're both first-person.
Other consoles shouldn't be barred from having similar games. And Sony has plenty of great first- and third- party IPs to choose from. And I'm not even trying to sound like a fanboy.
Cloud Strife, Squall Leonhart, or Sephiroth and I'm sold. Would Solid Snake be possible anymore? I'm guessing this would probably have Cole McGrath. As I'm probably not getting a Wii U I could survive between this and Brawl.

I have seen many smash bros rip offs (mainly on GC) and some have been fun to play. this could be good or bad
I really hope that they change the way you get points. This business of only scoring with specials I think is kind of stupid..
Worst of show so far. Great jobs guys...you actually make Smash Brothers seem like a halfway decent game in comparison.

Regardless i shall keep an eye on this game to see how it turns out. Whether i play this or not depends on if the fix the kill system and how good the final roster is.

1 Like @alchemist-Ed The Gamecube and PS2 had a Japanese exclusive Smash Bros clone with Simon Belmont, Solid Snake, Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bomberman, Master Higgins, and a few more.
It was called DreamMix TV: World Fighters or something like that.
