Will there be more/different characters?

The PS3 version has the same characters as the Vita version, there are no changes.
Two DLC characters, along with a new stage entitled Fearless (Heavenly Sword/Wipeout mash-up), have been confirmed. Kat (Gravity Rush) and Emmett Graves (Starhawk) are being worked on and will be released in early 2013.
Omar himself, as well as other SuperBot people, have confirmed that there will be more DLC created following these two characters. Whether or not Crash will appear is entirely up to Activision, who owns the rights. Crash was most likely considered for the main roster, but Activision weren't willing to allow either Crash nor Spyro in PSASBR. Now, once the game is out and doing good, maybe Activision will lighten up and allow them to be DLC.

so far only Emmett Graves from Starhawk and Kat from Gravity Rush announced to be future DLCs, they're coming around January. if gamers demand it, its possible Crash would be a potential DLC
