The game is already known to have nice visuals, but mediocre story and game play. I would still rather play it than a FPS game though.

I don't really care, I always expect worst of the games and when I get them, I am always pleasantly surprised - games never live up-to the hype they may or may not get before their releases.

Gameplay Mechanics I give it a 10/10.
Exploring & FreedomI give it a 10/10.
But even so this game looks way too chilish for me, so I won't purchase it, its not a Bad game just not the type of game I'd ever play.

Seriously? A 2-year old enhanced Wii port had better visuals than Ni No Kuni?
Look at the details on Asbel's clothing in Graces F.
The artwork is nice, although that's subjective, but better visuals? You've got to be visually impaired to claim that Graces F has better visuals than Ni No Kuni.

I could care a less about Studio Ghibli or any of that. I just loved the demo's gameplay. The battle system was fun, I haven't enjoyed a "monster" catching game this much since Jade Cocoon (never played Pokemon games). The animation is easy on the eyes and the voice acting is not annoying (like most Tales games).
I haven't been this excited for an RPG release since Lost Odyssey and that game lived up to all my self-imposed hype.

Personally this type of game isn't my cup of tea, but I like the direction they took with everything.
I personally believe families would love this game. Something for everyone to enjoy.
