A very addicting game with lots of depth, if a little childish.

User Rating: 7.2 | Pizza Tycoon PC
Pizza Tycoon is among the horde of Tycoon games, but is actually rather original compared to the rest. You'll make all the decisions from taking out loans and finding a suitable building to how to beat the last breathe out of your competitors (sometimes literally, on that last part). The result is a game that will keep you entertained for quite some time. The graphics, as with alot else in this game, is designed with kids in mind. They're very cartoonish and sometimes even try to be humerous, but in all, arn't that bad. As long as you're not looking for a professional looking game, it shouldn't be much of a problem. Sound has little to speak of. There's quite a few sound effects that will happen throughout the game, but nothing to really comment on. The gameplay is quite deep. You'll start off with a reduced map of the world (with continents that look like pizzas, no less) and a few cities to choose as your starting city. Once you select a city, you'll be taken to a fairly large map of the city, complete with cars driving around and such. You'll then want to find a suitable location out of the numerous buildings availabe. You'll have to search through a few to find one with a good priced rent. Then you'll have to call up a real estate agent to rent the building, then buy furniture for the kitchen and dinning area, then hire staff, then make your menu and possibly a few custom pizzas of your own, then ordering the food required, and finally opening the restuarant for business. As you can see, there's alot to do in this game. If you have a love of tycoon games and don't mind quite a bit of management responsibilities, Pizza Tycoon offers alot to keep you addicted.
