A beautiful yet needlessly frustrating work of art.

This isn't an actual review, just a collection of thoughts I had while playing the game. The Gamespot Review has a detailed description of what Eden is about.

This game had me captivated from the moment I've finished the first garden in the demo. I used to be a huge fan of Ninja Ropes in WORMS and was delighted to see a whole game made of pretty much the same gameplay element. The only difference is that you can't shoot your rope (or in this case a string of silk).

I loved the first 4 gardens, but in gardens 5 and 8 additional obstacles are added which make the game significantly harder. I wont give away what they are exactly but they'll increase the likeness of your grimp to end up on the very bottom of your garden a manifold times. All you can do is watch as the time bar approaches 0 and all your efforts and score going POOF! I've stopped counting how many times I ran out of time after almost an hour of trying to collect all spectra. I certainly wont go throught the strenuous task of opening the remaining seeds just for a few bronze trophies.
