Those fans of pixel junk monsters will also be a fan of pixel junk Eden. I feel it has a relatively short learning curve but it takes many hours of practice to master the art of flinging your character around the various gardens. My first impression was frustration; that being said you really have to have a lot of patience to play this game. Movement of your character feels less responsive then it should be and it takes some serious getting used to. Secondly I feel that requiring you to attain the spectra in a piece-wise and cumulative fashion was a mistake and merely adds onto the overall completion time and frustration. A nice addition would be to let the player choose when to leave the level. It is crazy addicting however, and has kept me playing for hours on end. It is simplistic and easy to pick up and this is a great feature. Online co-op would have also been a fantastic feature to have; perhaps in an update as well as custom soundtrack support, although it does have a great soundtrack as is, it would have been nice to utilize the new features that 2.41 allows. Overall I feel this is a great game, with 10 gardens to explore and a great way to have fun with up to 3 friends in co-op play, the fun seems endless. Added to that if you own a PSP you can take it on the go and adds for even more enjoyment away from the television screen. I would recommend this game to fans of the pixel junk series as well as those who want a fun, new, innovative game that will teach you to have patience as well as entertain you as you play.
