1000 hours x every little idea and neaunce he had. Every little thing he said, he kept saying, 1000 hours of this or 1000 hours of that = 1000's of hours to make that simple simple game.

A lot of the speakers were extremely high energy, so I actually really enjoyed the pace of this presentation. Genuinely fascinating insight into game design.

I actually thought it was interesting. I agree he wasn't the best speaker...but there was a lot of really cool information and neat anecdotes in there.
