This game is FREE! Don't fall for that. It's a fun game, but lacks way to much for enjoyment
I came to the Pirate world thinking of starting up an entire Pirate navy with big ships. Well, I joined and looked at all the lock symbols on all but two ships I could buy. Well, that was okay, considering the second ship wasn't that bad, but I do hate it when the commercials lie to you and say it's free. Yes, it's free, if you want 1/4 of the game. It's still fun to blow up ships and kill other pirates and those navy guys, but the basic membership lacks many aspects of the Unlimited Membership. Here are some of them:
1: Only have 2 ships which is okay
2: Can't play poker or (gamble)
3: Can't wear jewelry...?
4: Have to wait to play
5: Only can make 2 pirates. (Unlimited can have 4)
6: Can't create a guild
7: Level up normally (I will talk about this shortly)
8: Cannot edit your character
9: Limited to only pistols and swords
10: Can only level up to 10
This is ten HUGE problems in the game. But i think number 7 and 10 is the worst. Heres why:
In pirates, you can kill enemys for exp to level up with either your Sword, Pistol or ship. But then, you kill an enemy and it says, 8 XP (-6 XP Basic) And you only get 2 XP. This is complete bull and you work so hard and only get 30 XP by the end of a huge fight of level 5 and 6 enemys . You can level up, it just takes a long time. Now that you've spent all your fullscreen time for 7 days, you get to level 10 and now your done. You now have no goals but to do quests just for useless gold that gives you nothing but bullets for your gun. I can't belive it. Game over when your a level 10. Also, they should just make everything free by the time you are level 5, becasue you can only buy a boat and some guns. Yay! I saved up 1000 gold. What am I going to do with it now? Unfortunatly, dontate it to poor pirates...
This game is worth it if you got some $5 left over, but if your looking for a free gameplay experiance, Runescape is more worth your time.
