I had recieved this game for Christmas one year because it came with the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End DVD. I didn't have a DVD drive at the time, so the game sat festering in the bottom of my game drawer for about eight months. One Sunday afternoon, when I was bored a heck, I opened my drawer and saw it there. I put in the game and was over whelmed with...Crap!
I wasn't impressed by the blocky, porely animated Jack Sparrow, which was the best animated thing in the game. And the AI was even worse. It was kind of like fighting slow movine zombies, that just sat there, and waited for your three move combo to end. The controls were even more confusing, which was like playing an emulator game where the controls are trying to be a N64 controller, and failing miserably. The story is even more confusing because it starts with Dead Man's Chest, and goes through the whole movie before you actually get to At World's End.
I couldn't even get passed the second level because the controls were so complicated, you had no idea what button to hit. And it gets to the point where you just start pushing all the buttons on your keyboard until you hit the right one. It is also as buggy as any Activision Spider-Man game can get, and the stupid AI makes the game as fun as watching Sky High the movie while being forced to eat pea soup. Ewgh.
Without a doubt, this is the worst game I have ever played. I played this game for a total of 20 minutes before I actually threw the game away. I cannot stress enough, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME!
