Pictochat is a type of wireless Insant measenger that is biult into the nintendo DS. It is used to communicate with other people that have a DS and are about 30 to 100 feet away from you(it depends on things that can interfer with the connection like walls). You can write things by typing them on a keyboard on the touch screen or you can write the word free hand with your stylus. You can also draw things but the down side to that is that thier is no color only black. This would be a big hit if it were online and you could chat with friends or other people online because who's really going to use this if your 30-100 feet away from someone unless your in a dorm. It is still a nice little function that is biult into the DS out of the box.
