User Rating: 10 | Phantasy Star Portable PSP
okay, so I gave you my impressions, now here is the review!

Phantasy star portable at the moment is a japanese exclusive title, that plays simaller to Phantasy star online, now, thats not all that bad, because its portable, and probably one of the best psp games to date, everything in this game is finished, from the singleplayer to the multiplayer, to the balancing of the monsters and the drop rates, everything is well produced, the camera is perfect for you don't have to worry about adjusting it too much because it almost always follows you (except at bosses) and if you are lucky to have friends who ordered this off ebay too (I ordered 4 copies) you will find the multiplayer is very well done, now, this game isnt really like any other portable game, because its not just pick up in play, you have to be ready to play it for a hour or so, because sometimes the missions can go on for a while, and the bosses even longer at points, this isnt all bad at all though, because that was what the original phantasy star games were like.

the art looks absalutly amazing for a psp and the character creaton is the most I ever seen out of any of the phantasy star games, the music sounds really good too, as well as most of the sounds, the best part is if you don't like your voice after a while, you can change it, the only things you can't change really are your gender your race and your name.

there is alot to this game, there is a tone of missions to be had on 5 diffrent planets, you would reconize them from the PSU game for xbox360/ps2.

there is also alot of weapon costomization for there are skills that you can learn for each weapon, and you can costomize what you are holding in both hand (unless you are using a two handed weapon) and I was wrong when I said there wasnt much magic in my impressions, you just have to learn them from reading skill books.

anyone who cannot read japanese will be extremely over whelmed by all the options at first, but once you find out what everything does you will get used to it and be able to go though the menus quite easily.

none the less, this game is probably the most fun you can currently have on your psp, time for the scores:

Graphics-10
Sound-10
gameplay-10
replay value-10 (there are higher difficultys of quests to play)

overall-10

this has been a Linik0007 import review, I hope you enjoyed knowing of games from japan, I will see you for my next import review!
