Not as good as Blue Burst but better than the Xbox and Dreamcast version.

User Rating: 10 | Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II GC
Phantasy Star Online is a great game, get the Gamecube version and see for yourself. That's all I really need to type here, but because of review rules, I must have many, many, many more characters. Let me begin again by saying that the Dreamcast version cannot compare to the Gamecube's PSO because this version come with an extra customizable character for each of the three classes. The Xbox version requires you to own an Xbox Live account even if you intend to play offline.

Presentation: The main menu feels like you're hacking into an old computer. It makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Graphics: While old, this game was good for its time and looked great, the lighting was simple but still impressive.

Gameplay: It's just your old school dungeon crawling RPG.

Sound: Sounds like you swing a lightsaber or shoot a laser gun. Sound effects are fairly standard style.

Lasting Appeal: While it sounds boring, you'll be occupied for a very long time, even if you only play offline.
