Sega Genesis swan song

I did own the Sega Genesis but never actually bought this game. I did rent it, though, and played it for hours on end, trying desperately to get far in this game. This game is far and above Phantasy Star III and is on up there with Phantasy Star II, but on a different level. Number III was good and II was groundbreaking. Number IV is a good end to the series and a good end to the Genesis.

I had the pleasure of playing this game at least two more times after its initial release. I played it some in the late 90's while in college and then again in the early 2000's, both times on an emulator. My Genesis was who knows where and the emulator is just too easy to get, and so are the games.

What makes this game interesting is the addition of being able to use a vehicle and also adding the hunting missions. Using an emulator made it a breeze to level up and to actually beat the game.

Maybe someday when I have loads and loads of free time, I'll fire up the emulator and track down my rom folder and let it rip! You will not be disappointed if you play this game!
