King kong is a good game that manages to break the bad movie / game trend.

I rented King Kong after seeing the movie and i was really impressed. Its a really fun game and is fairly immersive. This game is very accessable and very fun and fps fans and fans of the movie alike will defitly find somthing to like here. The game starts you off as jack but you'll soon move on to better and trust me bigger things. The game is a standard first person game exept..notice somthing missing? That would be a hud of any sort. Now this isn't bad and helps add to the games favor. When your taking hits you get this Call of Duty 2 / Halo effect where the screen gets red and some opera musics starts to play. This works pretty well and lends to the games playabillity. Now as for the sound the sound is really good and its really good when your Kong and snapping some V-Rex jaws. Oh did i mention YOU CAN PLAY KONG! These serve to break up the 1st person gameplay and are really fun. My only beef with kong is that it just ends too soon. So overall give this a rent, even if you dont decide to buy its definitly worth experiencing for yourself.
