The Plot:

I was home from school this day and my only company were my latest N64 game called *Perfect Dark*. However I was very sceptical about this game since I never ever could imagine that Rare could make a game that was even half as good as Goldeneye. The following hours I was proved wrong. Over and over again. I started up Perfect Dark on my N64, saw the familiar Rare and nintendo logo and took the role as Joanna Dark an Agent who were on a mission to investigate a cooperation called DataDyne. FPS greatest chapter was soon to be revealed.

The first thing i noticed about Perfect Dark was the great graphics. The lightning effects were extremely well made along with the surroundings. The character animations for this game were truly amazing. You witnessed the enemies grab their leg and scream in pain etc. The whole game really pushed the N64 to its limits when it comes to the graphics.

This is actually my favorite thing in Perfect Dark. The soundtrack in Perfect Dark stands as one of my top 3 favorite alongside with Donkey Kong Country 2 and Metroid. It made the game really atmospheric and gave the game an unique feeling to it. It captures the "Dark, Powerful, Mysterious, adrenalin pumping feeling" 100% perfect.
From the fast paced action sound in * dDExtractionX* to the intense Perfect Dark styled *Alien Conflict* sound. Call me a geek or whatever, but to be honest I actually have a couple of Perfect Dark songs on my MP3 and constantly listens to them daily. They are that great !!
If you want to escape reality Perfect Dark makes a fine contestant thx to its atmospheric music. Alien Conflict ftw!!

Gameplay

The gameplay in Perfect Dark is , well Perfect. Every single level was as fun as the previous one. Add a load of great weapons, lots of enemies to kill, great story, a multiplayer that in my view stands as the best console multiplayer ever made, great controls, Co-Op (!!!!) and lots of things to unlock and you have a winning recipe. Perfect Dark has it all.

Hmm I could go on and on and on about this game but hopefully you already have played this game a hundreds of time before. If you haven't I actually feel sorry for you. You have no idea of what you are missing.
