REVIEW! Puzzles....THAT'S ALL! See? This was the easiest review I ever wrote because that's all there is to Penumbra Requiem! Narrated books of a madman whom you never meet. Red returns to annoy the hell out of you again just so you can get some retribution for burning him to death. Actually two types of endings, both of which tie into Penumbra Overture and Black Plague. Big Deal...there are absolutely NO ENEMIES in this! All you do is run around solving puzzles where some don't even make any logical sense whatsoever! You don't need the scattered painkillers that you find. You don't need the flares. You really don't need anything, but a crap load of patience solving linear "mind twisters". I enjoyed the first two titles, but Requiem was more of an after-thought of ever-ready batteries. I just think the Penumbra series set the ground work for Amnesia: The Dark Descent, which was way better than any one of these titles. Good thing I only paid $5.00 for all three Penumbras on Steam.
