The "KISS Method" in full efffect

User Rating: 9.5 | Peggle Deluxe PC
OK let's start from the beginning here:

Peggle(And its offspring "Peggle Nights" to be reviewed later) are both made by "Pop Cap" games. "Pop Cap" is the driving force behind this, the now Bejeweled Trilogy, and various other games that I've lost track of time playing on more than one occasion!

For the purposes of this review let's assume you've gone to an arcade and played a pinball machine at some point. We all do it at one time or another and generally we fall into one of two categories: We are insanely good or we can't get the score anywhere near 10 million. Let's also assume that you at one time or another played the games Arknoid or Breakout. Congratulations you've just been described "Peggle"

Now if you THINK its easy then do this watch "Plinko" on "The Price is Right" sometime in the near future. You see how hard it is to get the chip in the middle target all the time? THAT's how pleasantly hard this game is!

The game has a web version off of different sites(such as Pop Cap's) and you can also download the game for a trial or, if you really have no life commitments, might I suggest buying the game from the site directly, or whatever store is nearest you if you don't feel like downloading it!

Now the first time I played the game I have to tell you that I was immediately hooked on the concept. I thoroughly enjoy pinball and the old Arknoid game so this and is up my alley for sure. The simple, yet addicting gameplay works for the company and you can't go wrong with the cute and cuddly animals that you will be using throughout the game. Each animal in the game has different skills that you will use be it a super guide, multiball or Pyramid among many others and if they didn't break ya on the many levels of Adventure mode don't worry...there's a challenge mode, which I can tell you from the web game alone are, in fact a challenge!

So if I'm praising this game so highly why'd it only get a 9.5? Well while the challenge curve is enough that it won't bore you with ease or make you rip your hair out, depending on the type of gamer you are you'll be flat bored with it or addicted like a crack addict. If I was you personally though I'd at least play a trial version and if you don't lose track of time at some point don't buy it...but I seriously doubt you won't!
