Beast in Show winner available for download

Magnet the polar bear, the winner of the animal popularity contest, is now available as an add-on for Zoo Tycoon, Microsoft's zoo management strategy game.

Microsoft has announced that Magnet, a polar bear from the Baltimore Zoo, is now available as free downloadable add-on for Zoo Tycoon, its popular zoo management strategy game. Magnet is the winner of Microsoft's Beast in Show contest, in which animals from zoos around the country were nominated and voted on by Zoo Tycoon fans.

Magnet and other free add-ons, including reindeer, a Christmas tree farm, and new buildings, are now available at the official Zoo Tycoon Web site.

Zoo Tycoon, which was released in October, lets players build and manage their own zoo. Players must oversee the construction of habitats, the acquisition and care of animals, and the management of concessions stands, gift shops, and admission prices.
