Strategy First to bring War Times to North America

Strategy First signs the North American publishing rights to War Times, a WWII-themed real-time strategy game.

Strategy First has announced that it has secured the North American publishing rights to War Times. Created by Spanish developer Legend Studios, War Times is a real-time strategy game set during World War II. Players can choose one of four sides--the United States, the Soviet Union, Great Britain, or Germany--and fight in campaigns based on real historical events. Each of the nations has some unique units, buildings, and tech trees, and these differences allow each side to employ unique strategies.

War Times features a 3D engine that can model weather effects that affect units and gameplay. More than 80 different troop types, including land, sea, and air units, as well as more than 70 buildings, will be included in the game. The game will also feature cooperative multiplayer support, more than 20 multiplayer maps, and a map editor.

War Times is slated for release this fall. We'll have more information on the game as it becomes available.
