    this trailer is no way near the usual quality of the warhammer universe games.... i feel somewhat cheated.... i can't wait for the expansion....

    Hawt. I don't know why but the Warhammer universe is just so enthralling and captivating. So much better than Starcraft/Warcraft. This should be some good DLC, if that is what it turns out to be.

    This video is no where near as epic as the comments would lead you to believe. But I'm always down with new content, expansion or not.

    Heheh love the mexican (he good the bad and the ugly) stand off at the start, only for the Nids to storm in, Excellent trailer.

    It's not an expansion but I just seen Crox covered that... but to your other comment, Orks have worked with other 'evil' inclined races many times. In fact, the original DoW has them allied with Chaos Marines. And yes, the Eldar have tricked them into helping a fair few times.

    There is a misunderstanding. This is not an expansion, but only FREE new DLC!!
    New races will come in an expansion, but it aint coming earlier than 2010.
    Not even a year has passed than the oiginal game hit the stores!
    In the mean time Relic is working hard to fix the balance issues and add new free content. (Maps, new moods, units etc)

    Mhhh Joyous_Oblivion, I was mostly refering to what Commander_bongo said o-o'' ''way to kill your buddy there'' there was only one ork so I was wondering. I used the words ''Some people here SEEMS" not to point directly at that person and to imply I was not completely sure, anyway... I dont really care :S

    Some people here seems to be thinking that those beasts that attack those 3 guys are orks, they're not, they're the Tyranids new race in warhammer pc game, even though it's old in Warhammer 40K...

    i think this expansion will be a waste if they don't add any races, because the game is fine right now and just having an expansion for the heck of it is kind of stupid.....and an ork would never work with any one. a eldar would probably to trick them

    Put ghostbusters theme tune right before the gates open and the A Team theme tune near the end of the battle sequence XD the game itself is great but sadly the skirmish doesn't offer the same feel as the campaign.

    I wish they'd tried something new with a new series of games. And hadn't gone and done it with the Dawn of War series =( It makes me a saaad panda.
    The game is still decent. But, no way near the feeling it should have. Being a warhammer game and all.

    I don't get whats with all of you and your obsession with buildings. It's no longer an RTS, DoW2 is an RTT now, though that's not a recognized genre.

    meh sounds good in trailer form... will remain to be seen how it plays out. i miss the old DoW base building. tho i enjoy the DoW2 setup.. it just feels kind of hollow with the 1 building.. but time will tell..

    They didnt ruin the game. They just tried something new. Something that not all people likes such as yourself and ME.
    This of course doesn't mean that they wont do a future remake of the original DoW RTS series. I think they will give this a go, make some expansion packs, see where it takes them and if enough people QQ, they'll just go back to what worked and what people liked them for; the original DoW.
